GREATER NEW HOPE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBERS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Two New Positions Added To All-Volunteer Organization

New Hope, PA (April 20, 2010) – The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce announces its new Board of Directors with two new additional positions for a total of 15 members (4 officers and 11 board members). The elections were held at the annual meeting on March 30, 2010. "We are looking forward to an exciting year. Our goal has been to sponsor or co-sponsor an event a month for New Hope, we have exceeded that goal and over 12 events are happening annually,” stated returning board member and past president, Louis Licitra.

The line-up includes returning members and new business members:

The Chamber would like to thank Board members who have served their terms. Sharon Flanagan (Fred Eisen Leather & Art Knives), although leaving as a Board member, will continue her role as the 2010 Arts & Crafts Festival Chairperson. Ana Leyland (A Mano Gallery), has also in the past chaired & co-chaired the Arts & Crafts Festival and will still be very active on Chamber Committees. Dan Kramli (New Hope Fitness) and David D'Angelo (Chiropractic & Carpal Tunnel Center) are also leaving the Board.

Stephanie Nagy remains as the Chambers administrator and Carol Ann Della Penna of Della Penna Media Group coordinates public relations.

The Chamber is proud to acknowledge many successful sponsored events since ringing in 2010. January’s Fire & Ice Ball kicked-off the Lambertville-New Hope Winter Festival; The first ever New Hope Restaurant Week was a huge success generating 1500 visitors during the week of March 21; This month’s New Hope Renaissance Fantasy Faire enjoyed many tourists; New Hope Celebrates PRIDE (May 13-16); "New Hope goes International" with the New Hope Film Festival (June 21-27); The Bucks County Wine Trail co-sponsors the New Hope Summer Wine Faire (July 24 & 25); the long-running and very popular New Hope Automobile Show is fun for the whole family (August 14 & 15); the best of its kind on the East Coast, New Hope Juried Arts & Crafts Show with over 150 participating artists and crafters (September 25 & 26); also in September watch for the Bucks County HOG Rally with a great bunch of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts; Halloween festivities throughout October; and in November the entire community and visitors celebrate the annual Holiday Kickoff & Tree Lighting (November 28).
