FACT, Bucks County to host 7th Annual AIDS Walk

FACT, Bucks County will hold its seventh annual AIDS Walk on Sunday, October 1 at 9:00 am, rain or shine. The 10K (6.2 miles) Walk will begin at 10 a.m. (registration at 9) at New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 W. Bridge Street, New Hope.

New Hope Arts Announces Works in Wood Exhibition

Juried Exhibition Open To All Artists Working in Wood
Applications are currently available for the Works in Wood Show scheduled to open November 14, 2006 will be held at the New Hope Arts Center’s 3000 square foot gallery.
The juried show is open to all artists working in wood to create flat or dimensional works and is NOT limited to functional objects and furniture although both are welcome. Innovative works are also encouraged.
There are no geographic limitations and any artist using wood as a medium is encourged to apply. Deadline for entries is October 20, 2006.
