Art Auction for Haiti Earthquake Relief
Gallery Piquel, 39 N Main St, 215-862-3523 will be auctioning off an original Haitian painting. All proceeds will go to Haitian relief efforts. Bidding starts at $100 and will go in $20 increments. Bidding will end at 5:00 PM, Sunday, February 21, 2010. Contact tamara@gallerypiquel.com for further information. To thank participants who place bids, the gallery will offer a $100 gift certificate towrds the painting or sculpture of their choice at Gallery Piquel. |

FAT TUESDAY
Participating restaurants in New Hope have various events to benefit the Bellle Reve AIDS Hospice of New Orleans, Abeona House, Inc. and the New Orleans SPCA. The Raven at 7:30 PM -- Miss Pumpkin hosts the Miss Mardi Gras Pageant ($5.00 dontation); Tuscany on the Towpath presents Barrie Lyndon's Drag Show at 9:00 PM; Havana, Karla's and John & Peters all offer special drink and menu items with DJ Dance Parties; Cafe Europa offers a special Cajun menu with Texas Holdem tournaments; Sandbar offers special drink and menu items with $1.00 donation for any draft beer ordered; Marsha Brown offers special drink & menu items. Each restaurant will have a Gift Basket raffle |
