ARTSPEAK: A Series of Gallery Talks & Informal Concerts
The New Hope Arts Center, 2 Stockton Avenue, New Hope hosts ARTSPEAK: a series of Saturday night Gallery Talks by nationally recognized artists whose work is currently featured in Sculpture New Hope, a juried exhibition of sculpture by 29 artists from around the country. The Chamber of Commerce will hold its bi-monthly Business Card Exchange at the New Hope Arts Center, 1 Stockton Street, at 6:30 PM. Robin Larsen, Director of New Hope Arts will speak about the future plans of New Hope Arts and the role they can play in the current revitalization of New Hope. All are welcome. New Hope Celebrates GRAND PARADE & VENDOR FAIR
The parade starts at 11:00 AM at the New Hope-Solebury High School on W Bridge St; then travels down W Ferry St to S Main St and ends at Waterloo St. Everyone is welcome. The Vendor Fair, from 12:00 to 5:00PM will be held at the Borough Hall parking lot on New Street. |

New Hope Golf Cassic
The New Hope Golf Classic will take place on May 21, 2008 at Makefield Highlands Golf Club , located at 1418 Woodside Road, Lower Makefield Township. Registration will begin at 11:00 AM with lunch at noon, a shot gun start at 1:00 PM and dinner at 5:30 PM. All proceeds support the projects and activities of the New Hope Park & Recreation Board. |

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY RELAY FOR LIFE
Relay for Life is the largest fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. The event takes place at the New Hope-Solebury high school on May 31st and June 1, 2008 from 9:00 am to 9:00 am.. Contact Mr Chris McShea at 215-712-3295, ext 3015 for further information.
Relay is a 24-hour walking event which honors cancer survivors, pays tribute to the lives lost to the disease and spreads awareness of cancer prevention, treatment and cures. Volunteer opportunities are availlable; form a team and join the event; or, register to participate in the survivor ceremony. |
